Gorredijk – November 17, 2016 – ZiuZ is proud to announce that it has joined the Task Force Health Care (TFHC) network. The TFHC network consist of partners from industry, knowledge institutes, NGO’s, healthcare providers and government, all active in the Dutch Life Sciences & Health sector. The partners provide innovative and sustainable solutions to global (and local) healthcare challenges.
ZiuZ Medical is a knowledge intensive company specialized in developing cutting-edge visual intelligence technology for pharmaceutical and medical purposes. The company has a proven track record in developing and distributing high volume pouch checking devices. Not that long ago, a pharmacy assistant had to check the contents of medication pouches manually. A tedious and error-prone process. With the introduction of ZiuZ Medical’s pouch checking devices, this belongs to the past. ZiuZ Photon and IRIS check each medication pouch for the right contents and dosage, making sure that the right medication is dispensed to patients.
By joining TFHC, ZiuZ Medical aims to contribute to improving healthcare worldwide. Bert Garlich, ZiuZ Medical’s Business Line Manager, underlines this by stating “Our aim is to support pharmacies and hospitals in their medication dispensing processes worldwide. In order to do so, we recently launched the IRIS, a tabletop pouch checking device. The compact size and attractive price tag make the IRIS especially suitable for smaller and less affluent pharmacies and hospitals around the world.”
