I-CARE module for VizX2

INTERPOL is the world’s largest international police organisation, with 194 member countries. Key to identifying victims of child abuse is the International Child Sexual Exploitation database (ICSE), which is a product of the contributions made by National Central Bureaux in 64 countries plus Europol, out of which 26 are European Union Member States.

ZiuZ has recently completed the I-CARE module for VizX2. With this module, law enforcement agencies that have access to the ICSE database can seamlessly connect their VizX2 systems to this database through the I-CARE Open Interface. The I-CARE module allows users to download the latest version of the ICSE hash list and to upload both new hashes and media files to the ICSE database.

The upload and download functionality can be used by manually starting the upload or download process whenever needed. The I-CARE module also contains a scheduler that allows users to automate the upload and download process at regular intervals. This way the VizX2 system will always contain an up-to-date version of the ICSE hash list, and media files and their related hashes will be automatically uploaded to the ICSE database.

The I-CARE module can be deployed independently of VizX2 for use with third-party case management systems.
